This week we look the last blood type and how to eat according to your blood type. We are looking at Blood Type AB – The Nomads.

From a book called, Eat right for your type - Peter D'Adamo explained how people could feel better, live healthier and longer lives, and how to achieve the ideal weight by following a diet that belongs to their blood type.

He also found that certain spices, condiment and even physical activity should depend on your blood type to help you feel your best and to help your body to function optimally.

Here are some recommendations to eat the correct food according to blood type AB.

They are the modern merging of A and B and have a chameleon’s response to changing environmental and dietary conditions. They have in general a sensitive digestive tract and a tolerant immune system. They respond best to stress spiritually and with creative energy.

Limited intake of red meat in AB`s is recommended as they don`t have the sufficient stomach acidity to digest the animal protein. On the other hand, AB`s thrive on fish and seafood as well the intake of eggs. 

In general AB`s deal the best with high-fat diet, a balance of protein and carbohydrates in combination with 70-80% of vegetables (no starchy vegetables) will optimise the health of a AB. Following a AB type diet will give you more energy and better digestion.
